Starting in the early oughts, Radio and Television Arts students have been putting out a yearly collection of the music they’ve been making. The project was founded by Tyler Wade in 2002 and the majority of the mixes are available on RTA’s Bandcamp (check out earlier compilations for gems like an early solo track by The Wooden Sky’s Gavin Gardner).
2014’s RTA Mixtape was just released and includes 14 tracks. All songs feature at least one RTA performer and are all original compositions. This year’s compilation was compiled by Mike Fiore.
