May 2 marked Canada’s first Authors for Indies event. Authors for Indies is a day when well-known authors show their support for independent bookstores by visiting bookstores across Canada and volunteering as book sellers.

One of these authors, Terry Fallis, is a Canadian humourist who has released four novels (The Best Laid Plans, The High Road, Up and Down, and No Relation) and will be releasing his fifth novel later this year. CJRU reporter Sara Cristiano was recently able to talk to Terry Fallis about Authors for Indies as well as his writing process and what makes his style of writing unique.
