Interview with John Cleese

Since the late 1960s he has been one of the most revered figures in comedy. His initial work with the legendary comedy troupe Monty Python, his later television series Faulty Towers and films like A Fish Called Wanda are hailed as comedy classics. Instead of resting on his reputation John Cleese continues to work to get his laughs.

Earlier this month Cleese visited Toronto for a five night engagement. The Scope’s Josh Kolm spoke to Cleese during his visit.
