Toronto-based rapper DijahSB has dropped their latest album Head Above the Waters a groovy, synth laden album with slippery rhymes. A breath of fresh air in the hip hop landscape that’s chock-full of trap, DijahSB spends their bars on carefree, self affirming rhymes rather than hip hop’s usual dealings.
Along with the new album she’s dropped a new music video for the single ‘Overtime‘. It’s music video that depicts DijahSB working overtime at a bar alongside singer Chris Castello and ultimately ends in the two quitting. It’s a smooth track with a quaint guitar lick, sunny synths and a groovy bass.
The music video also happens to be made by Ryerson’s very own RTA students, directed by Pamika Raj and produced by Gabbie Clarke (a CJRU alum) and Deanna Krueger.
