Partnering with the For Youth Initiative, this workshop series was designed to introduce participants to the basics of producing an audio story, and the ways that audio can be used as a relatively low-barrier medium to share their stories and voices with the world. Youth ages 17 – 25 participated in sessions that covered recording, interviewing, writing, editing, and more, with a special focus on accessible tools and resources, with several participants completing an audio piece by the end of the workshop.
