This holiday season, CJRU is collecting donated items for the Toronto Overdose Prevention Society.

You may have seen the tents every time you pass by Moss Park at Queen and Parliament streets.  The Toronto Overdose Prevention Society is helping people to combat the opioid crisis by providing life-saving services to drug users out of a temporary centre.  They’ve already saved dozens of people from overdose-related deaths in the few months they’ve operated out the location.

The centre is in need the following supplies:

-Tissue

-Juice Boxes

-Granola Bars

-Socks

-Lysol wipes

-Winter accessories (Hats, mittens, gloves)

-Paper towels

You can drop off items at the station during our office hours:

Monday – Thursday

9:30am – 10pm

Friday

Saturday

Happy Holidays!
