CJRU is excited to announce a new series that will be broadcast on our airwaves for the rest of the summer.
We will be partnering with various record shops in the community to curate 2 hours of music for broadcast each weekend for eight weeks of July and August. Playlists and DJ sets will be accepted as we celebrate Toronto’s music scene and one of its greatest facets: the record shop. Our first edition of Vinyl Vices arrives July 3 at 9p.m. courtesy of She Said Boom. Look out for further announcements as we partner with more record stores in Toronto!
We’re keenly aware of the effect that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on independent businesses and we look forward to promoting such a key part of our music scene.
